Air Cooling System

The engine has an interesting cooling system. There is a fan connected to a T shaped duct (odd aluminum shape top right). One end of the duct pushes air through a bundle of tubes running through the center of the oil tank (bottom right). The other end of the duct drives air to a generator or other accessory hooked up to the engines PTO. (Power Take-Off). From this angle you can see one of the combustors (bottom left) that sits under the oil tank. A small heat shield between the oil tank and combustor is hidden behind the 2x4 stand.
